1. Statement Speech (Pernyataan)

She said “I watch TV”                                  She said (that) she watched TV.

She said” My mother is cooking”                  She said her mother was cooking.

She said,” I didn’t watch TV.”                       She said she hadn’t watched TV.

2. Question (Pertanyaan)

-    Yes / No Question
She said “Are you hungry?”                        She asked me if /whether I was hungry.

                     She said, “Does Iwan live in Bandung?”      She asked me if Iwan lived in Bandung

She said,” What did you eat?”                    She asked me what I had eaten.

3. Imperative (Larangan dan Perintah)

She said,” don’t cry, Rudi!”                         She told Rudi not to cry.

            She said,” Don’t be said.                             She told me not to be said
